Re: 1921p morgan riddle me this batman.

Might be struck through but very little interest in stuff like this. Can't really tell what it is. But most of all, patience is very important here. Many of us help here in our spare time.

Re: 1921p morgan riddle me this batman.

sorry to have bothered anybody, will keep it down to a minimum. Hey S, it ain't you Braugh, sometimes the time it takes to respond has to do with thinking about the subject at hand. Since I tend to be a BIG personality, and verbose I prefer to give a complete answer, everyone is different, some may...

Re: 1934 d peace dollar vam 3 for grading?

...but is this a coin that i should send in to be graded? It depends on what you mean when you use the word "should." Coins CAN be sent into the optional services in the hobby known as grading companies, but the term "SHOULD" implies necessity. This is not a negative against get...

I clearly see damage to the numbers in this last image posted.....

The prevalence of the markings you see in the fields, is due to the "Reflection"

Re: Buffalo nickel found while coin searching

Relevance.

Delams are common in circulation...yes.

Finding specifically a Buffalo made ~100 year ago with a delam in modern pocket change?

Well, I certainly would not mind it. Doesn't happen to me.

Re: daniel carr overstrike peace dollar

What your pictures show is underlying remnants form the original coin's detail. This is what Mr. Carr himself says. And also...there is a large following of these - look on eBay. Most of the time it is very difficult to get any of the back issues and they command a high price b/c people do not like ...

Hello beautiful people!

Hi, my name is Robin Griffith. I am a newbie to actually looking at my coins versus just keeping the ones grandma gave me. I think all the warnings to newbies about being careful what you say and what you do and what you think you see are great pieces of advice for me to hear. It's nice not to have ...

Re: 2021 Morgan/Peace dollar debris in capsules

Your breath can have an acidic or alkaline PH. There are microscopic particles in your breath which, therefore, can be put onto the coin. With a circulated coin, likely not a problem. With an MS or proof, I personally would not chance it when all you need is a turkey baster to puff away at the capsu...
