Natural or Artifical Toning

#1 Unread post by tskoobs »

Hi everyone,

I bought a few raw Morgans from my LCS that have reverse toning (example images from one of the coins attached). I've watched videos and researched natural versus artifical toning, but it's something I feel like I'm having some trouble training my eye on. Hoping to get an opinion from the group on whether the reverse toning here looks natural or artifical.

Thank you for looking and I appreciate your help!

It's not natural and this coin has been cleaned and badly marked up.
