i just got this coin i purchased. its Absolutely Beautiful, my first full steps from the 60s
im so thrilled owning this coin.

Can you improve the quality of the photos on the coin? There is a chance it's a proof . . .

If from mint set, nice coin. Based on photos it doesn’t look like FS which means it needs to grade 66 just to break even basically.
One thing here is most won’t offer grade based on photos. I would be curious to see better photos obverse and reverse (correct lighting and cropped).
Still can’t help with grade but could see if it FS or not.

That is a bummer, but that is a Uncirculated 1964 Philly coin for sure! Very nice for it's age! I normally see worn down ones in Circulation . . .

It's a normal proof Jefferson. It's not from a mint set either. I know a proof and if you examined as many proofs as I have you would know as well. Submit it to PCGS or NGC and you will see.
It doesn't even matter if it's a proof or not, this is a common Jefferson nickel and not worth more than a couple dollars.
