6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

When I saw this it reminded me of a different thread on a different forum from some time ago, yet the token looks similar. I *think* the consensus was a hat/coat check token. But I am NOT sure about that...so I am sorry if I am wrong. If you want to try to find the thread, searching something like "horseshoe token" (or something similar you can think up) may be fruitful at www.coincommunity.com. Sorry I cannot be more specific. You might also try posting it there and maybe the people who answered about the one posted on that thread will at least be able to tell you more.

Hey S, well Bars etc. would put their name on the token, there were coat check machines that used tokens, but they were far more complex. Sooo, how bout this, company store chit, my guess would be mining. They used this stuff to force the employees to buy from the company store, EDIT, there are examples of chit that had the company name etc on it, but, who knows if they all did it. Since it had a serial number on it, I really think it is some kind of substitute currency.
