Silver Eagles are struck at all the mints and the bullion is struck at West Point and Philadelphia, but they don't put a mint mark on them.
They come in a green monster box and the straps have the mint they come from, I've opened a few in my videos to show people. PCGS
puts the mint the monster box comes in strapped from.

Oh ok so on MS Bullion Coins they don't put the mint marks on. But on Proof Bullion coins they do right I say that because I was able to get one of the 2021 Proof Silver Eagels from the US Mint and it has the W on the reverse. Thanks for the info Dan and I love your Youtube channel.

Sort of gimmicky and sort of not.

Gimmicky:
There is no way to tell these from the other ones at Philly if this one is ever broken out of the slab. So PCGS offers the label and can make more money.

Not gimmicky:
The coin actually was made at Westpoint and so some people see the label as being a legitimate way to have an excuse to own more than one of the same coin. 😊

I am in the first category...but neither category is "right" or "wrong:" Hobbies are about how we personally have fun.
Common grading company shortcomings & resulting co$tly mi$take$ to collectors (using Kennedy No FG halves):

Daniel just seen your what I beleave is you lastest youtube post which decribed what you told me here about bullion coins not having the mint mark on them but the graders can put the mint from the info on the straps on the monster box. if you made that video before you answered by post wow what a coincidence. I beleive you added that info to a post you were planing give on the price you need to charge to maintain a business and be fair to help new collecters to better undstand the hobby. Which is why I said i love you channel. And while I am still very much in the learning curve I know you pricing on you online store is very fair with many items only a couple of dollar over graysheet which is totaly understandable as this is how you make a living. While as of date I have not found a offering from you in the price point i am buying at this time I am at time I have seen many that I would have taken because I know they have a very fair mark up. I have not doubt I will be buying from you in the future. If you did make the post I seen tonight before your answer to my post yesterday still thanks it was info many knew but many did not. And if my post spured you into adding the coment about how graders can give the desdesignation of mint mark makes that much more happy I joined this group. Either way I want to thank you and the community for all the help they give and hope I will be able to help in the future thanks.
