1811 These are all 1811/09 over dates.
1814 Found with Small and Large dates; the Small date is the scarcer of the two. One interesting variety has STATESOFAMERICA with no spaces between the words.
1820 Found with Large and Small 0's in the date. The 1820 Dime also has an interesting variety with STATESOFAMERICA appearing as a single word. Image
1821 Found with Large and Small Dates.
1822 A very scarce and desirable date.
1823 These are all 1823/2 over dates. Found with Large and Small E's in the reverse legends.
1824 These are all 1824/2 over dates.
1827 Look for the rare 1827/5 overdate.
1828 The Large date variety has a curled base on the 2 of the date; the Small date variety has a flat based 2.
1829 These normally come with a flat based 2 in the date, but a rare variety has a curled base. 10C on the reverse comes in Small, Medium, and Large versions.
1830 Look for the 1830/29 overdate. The reverses come with Small and Large 10C.
1834 Found with Small and Large 4's in the date.
Notes:
Prior to 1809 there was confusion the Bust Dimes worth, so the Capped Bust Dime design included a 10 C on the bottom of the reverse.
