7-10x loupe. If it’s too worn to not see with the loupe it’s (IMO) not worth the time and effort. Unless your going for a low ball registry set. Again just my opinion.

I would not use anything more than a 15x loupe on your coins, if you look this close you will see all kinds of things that are nothing to speak off.

Keep in mind that these markers must match exactly........ and will vary slightly due to die state, as seen in the listings.

You might want to write down a list of where these markers are for the different known varieties, and then search your coin for exact matches.

I admit I am not liking the thinning (not RPM typical in my experience) of the back edge of the D as you go from bottom to top.
