Re: Never seen a quarter like this!! Please help me identify this.
How would it be thicker and have the same diameter and have no inclination of any ridge marks on the edge if it was damaged. What does a planchet that was never struck with a Die look like? You need to buy the book and read error-ref.com website before posting another coin. You don't understand the...

Re: 1982 Lincoln penny
It's supposed to weigh 3.11g-2.49 =.62 or roughly the weight of a post it off. Given that the coin is either, somewhat corroded or on a rolled thinner planchet, it's possible to weigh the roughly 2.5 g. JMHO. Happy Holidays!!

Re: 2007 D Lincoln memorial close AM ?
This is what the 2007 D should be. 1959-1992 are all supposed to be Wide AM's, with the 1993-2008 being close AM. The only one I know that have the Wide AM and are not supposed to are, 1998, 1988, and 2000.

Re: 2013 1 dollar bill serial number
 Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is not a commonly collectible note. "Repeater Notes" are at the bottom for being a collectible Fancy Number. Secondly, Condition is everything and this note isn't in the best of shape. I hope this helps. http://oldcurrencyvalues.com/repeat...

Hello. What I see is what is called "split plating". The coin is also very worn. Thanks for sharing.

It might be a combination of a die chip and contact mark from circulation.

I agree. You can also see the base of the 9 is larger than it should be. Damaged die.

Re: 1976D lincoln cent....with stamps! Real?
This is a double counterstamped penny. These are still being made today. Anyone can order a stamp and make them. Yours was made for the bicentennial and likely sold with some sort card with info about the bicentennial. Here is a thread from an e-friend of mine who I would call the King of countersta...

Re: 1976D lincoln cent....with stamps! Real?
If you take a closer look at the reverse of the coin, you may be able to see some discoloration from the adhesive/glue they used when they affixed this to ??? as a promotional item.
