See the PM I sent you about the reality of grading companies. A lot of people lose a lot of money to the companies b/c those people have the wrong idea about what the companies are for and what they do.

Try lighting it uniformly and posting more pictures. The shadows are making it hard to see. I went back and looked at the first picture you posted and admit the area looks different to me in that first picture than it does in the closeup.

Totally agree. If you are going to have a monarch on currency and coins issued throughout the world, then dress them up for all it is worth! Make them stand out from looking like the guy who ushers people into theater seats or takes up the offering in a church service.

With the pics provided, it looks like post mint damage we see here often on US coins caused by the circular mark left when a coin roll crimping machine is used ("Ring of Death").

While I understand the question looking at the pics, I think from the degree of wear I think ony guesses can be made. Possibly even something like a pocket piece someone used to deliberately rub akin to modern fidget spinners or, a bit older, pocket worry stones.
