Hello guys I was looking around a thrift store and saw a little recognition award thing and I saw that it had a coin inside 1976 D Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar coin , did paid a dollar for it but now I have no idea how to get it out
Or if is even possible without damaging the coin , I cut it in this small piece but now I need some suggestions of what should I do..

I did a video on removing a coin from this and I damaged the coin, but this coin isn't worth all that effort.

Not really. You can polish the sides (check online for polishing plastic - heat polish or else successive grits of sandpaper then a plastic polish) and have a paperweight. Halves can be asked for at any bank and although it might take a little searching, bicentennials are not hard to find.Wow that was a waste now I'm 2 dollar down
