I picked up this beauty with the belief that she is badly undergraded.. Having posted it on my other forums as a guess the grade earlier today, the responces there seem to echo my thoughts. So PLEASE I would like your honest grading opinion here and not just "guestimates". The pictures from both the seller and NGC are decent pics so should be possible to come fairly close :D
Watcha think... PS I paid "list" for the grade on the slab and since I and quite a few others believe it under graded I think I did REAL well on this one lol :D

Is it one of those - Right now it's a 64 - but I'm hoping it will grade out as 65 because there's a nice jump in the price?
I have to admit I tend to lose more of those bets than I win when I crack them out...

Re: Guess the Grade!!! 1883-p morgan dollar...
The lighting makes it impossible for me to give an opinion of what I think the pictures show.
But I am guessing since you are posting this in this manner that what the pics make me think I see as wear on the Liberty's cap is not wear. I am guessing from the slanted pic there is some decent reflection making it possible DMPL. But other than that, I can say I like the cheek, but not the nose and under the eye. The fields look like the pic enhances the problems there.
So how is that for being non-committal? Nevertheless...nice coin!

I am no expert, but I'd say a 64, just due to the chatter on the obverse

I agree with NGC, there's way too may dings in the fields. I would not guess greater than MS62.
