1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

If they're honest and knowledgeable, some dealers are not and you don't have to be a coin expert to be a dealer.

Hi Daniel - Just saw your new video and, as always, it offered great info. However, if someone is not certain about something, then they should at least qualify their remarks. A number of online dealers say “appears” uncirculated or even do offer their opinion but say “...but you judge for yourself and bid accordingly”.

When a dealer puts in bold capital letters “BU” and identifies the item as uncirculated with no qualifications, then they better be certain about it whether the dealer is experienced or not. Thankfully, I didn’t base my offer on this claim. I wish more dealers were like you.

They should know but they're not all honest, that is the problem.

The coin on bottom has more reflective fields and reflects more light, it could have been dipped but this doesn't mean it was. ezest will not harm UNC coins, but if the coin was cleaned in the past and then dipped in ezest or if the coin is circulated, then it will look cleaned. I've used ezest for 20 years, among many other coins cleaners and dips on the market.
