Unfortunately I no longer have the two coins I am going to ask about (tossed them back into the discard pile (rolled and cashed in)).
Not to long ago I made a posted about a possible 2006 Wide AM. As it was pointed out this coin was not a Wide AM. I fully agree, that as stated it is not a Wide AM. The question I have is it a possibility that in 2006 they used two different reverse Die Patterns (two distinct reverse dies)? I would not be asking this, but during a continued search of the box I was searching I found two different types (varieties) of reverses. One was clearly the normal close AM in which the lower right leg of the A, and the lower left leg of the M showed no space (or close to no space) with the FC positioned further out from the bottom of the lower left side of the memorial building which is normal for the close AM. The second type I noticed, had a definite space between the lower right leg of the A, and the lower let leg of the M. The latter coin's FC has what is normal for a close AM. I only bring this up because of the recently discovered 2017P Close Shield, Far (normal) Shield. If need be, I will be picking up some boxes of pennies on Friday (6/18/21) and if I run across the same thing, I can post photos if requested.
Thank you all.

Yes, post images, but where did you hear about two reverses for 2017?

Re: 2006 Two (2) Sets Of Reverse Dies
I will post them if I find it again in my next penny boxes.
The 2017P Close and normal shield were on the CONECA Home Page.

by John Gibson In 2020, during the pandemic, like many others, I had some free time on my hands. While searching coins in a BU roll of 2017 P Lincoln cents I noticed there were two different positions for the Shield and ONE CENT Scroll on the reverse.

Re: 2006 Two (2) Sets Of Reverse Dies
Looks like the reverse die is a bit misaligned but not a new variety here.
