Been searching $500 boxes of circulated, bank wrapped rolls. Some finds, stats...
W mint quarters are averaging 2 finds per $500 box (I sold 2 on ebay for $10 a piece because of obverse scratched)
Found 14 W mints so far, 2 scratched, see above.
Found 1 SLQ, 1925.
Found 1 AU proof, Bicentennial cameo.
Found 1 1979, missing nickel-clad layer reverse.
Happy hunting!

Indiana. I never expected it. MAYBE a 1960's Washington, but not a SLQ.

An SLQ! With a legible date yet! The only type I've ever found in circulation was a 1942 Merc in the mid 70s, back when I was 7 or 8! Nice!

Wow! An SLQ with a date. I grew up with a Grandfather owning laundromats. We went through 900.00 of change every week in the late 60s-80s. I never personally found an SLQ with a date on it!
