Sometimes you gotta ask yourself: "Do I feel lucky?"
Either I AM a punk, or I just made an incredible find! Now don't make fun of me if I got this wrong, but I was searching a penny roll and this coin just felt more substantial, with a really nice bold rim and flat edge. I know it's unlikely, but... COULD this possibly be a matte proof? What do you think?
And if someone has the time and the patience to give me some tips on how to identify a matte proof (even if I'm right on this one), I would be most grateful. Thank you!
1916 Lincoln Cent. Is it possible? Could it be a matte proof?

This is a nice business strike and they can have a "bumpy" finish in the teens and some early 20's.
