If no answer here try posting on coincommunity.com. I know they have someone there who can read these.

Check out this link and spend some time with its other referenced links. I used this awhile ago to decipher some Chinese coins I found in my Dad's collection. It took a bit of patience, but eventually I figured it out:

I poked around and bit and came up with this:

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces28094.html

I believe that's about as close as your going to get for dating this vintage Chinese cash coin. My understanding is that these are only identified by the the emperor of the period, which in this case is this Jiaqing fellow, identified by the top and bottom characters on the obverse. The right/left characters (as I understand read right to left) signify the currency type, which in this case is Tong Bao, meaning something like "circulating currency" or "universal currency". The characters on the reverse are the mint mark - Boo Yuwan, which is the Ministry of Public Works, Beijing.

Someone with more expertise may correct me on some of this, but with my limited understanding, that's about all I've got! Good luck!
