1891 S Morgan Silver Dollar Do you agree with MS?

I would appreciate your input on this. Not sure if this would grade MS? I'm concerned about the scratch on her cheek and potential cleaning.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Steve - I see you just recently joined - welcome. I'm not far behind you...

I've learned so much from Daniel and the other experts that are available on this site. There is so much sharing of information here - it is hard to believe at times...

When I see a post like yours, I hesitate to scroll down to see other responses - to test myself. When I originally joined, I was clueless about what Daniel noted in his response. Now I can see what he is referring to - only because of spending time here.

Looking forward to your further posts! I see your tag ends in AZ, which I assume means Arizona ;) Perhaps we can meet sometime when our Brewers are out there for spring training (I'm from the MKE area)...

Best,
Jeff

The reason I asked is the person that has it was told it was MS60 when he bought it from a dealer. I told him it was AU at best and that it had been cleaned. Thanks for confirming this.
