1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Re: 1993 penny
I am not sure what you are seeing that you believe is from another coin's design on this cent? it looks like just a damaged coin.

Re: 1993 penny
I highly recommend you study Glossary of Error Variety Terms
This site will help you help us. This way instead of posting “What do you think about this coin?”, “What error is this”, “What error is this and how much is it worth” "Is this coin good and worthy?" or even "Is this coin good enough to get graded?", or something along the same line are beyond a doubt big NO Nos’. You need to find a way to tell us what you see and why you think it is a error or variety. It will also assist you in knowing what we are taking about we use these terms.
As far as "Is this coin good enough to get graded? I recommend you try to compare your coin to PCGS Photo Grade after which you can go to PCGS Price Guide to see if it is worth getting graded. Remember 98% of the time you would waste your money getting it graded

Re: 1993 penny
As far as it being a Doubled Die, with the one photo you posted it is impossible to see anything.

Re: 1993 penny
This is still no help.
The following is the best way to post your photos. This will give those who give you their opinion a better understanding what is going on with the coin.
When posting photos of a coin you would like someone to look at, you NEED to post a Cropped photo of both the the full Obverse and Reverse looking straight down. Try to take these photos as clear and close as possible. Next take some photos of the area in question, also, as close, and clear as possible. It would also help if you could find some way to point to the area in question or give a detailed explanation of what you want to be looked at. DO NOT just say "What Error is this?", "What do you think about this coin and what is the value?" or "What can you tell me about this coin?". We would happily provide you with sites you can research coin errors and varieties. If you need a photo editing program, there are three free ones that come to mind. They are PhotoScape, Inkscape and Gimp. Of the three PhotoScape is the easiest to use. I use PhotoScape and it will do everything required to post photos on the board. Daniel explains quite well in the following two topics, POSTING PHOTOS plus his video on this same topic Daniels posting Coins Video on posting coins

Re: 1993 penny
Or we could start ignoring the posts as it would take to much time to try and figure out exactly what and where we are suppose to be looking at. Remember, everyone who takes the time to assist you with their answers are doing this as volunteers. They are doing this to help Teach you about what is what, because they love coin collecting, and want to pass the knowledge down to a new generation of coin collectors.Earle42 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 10:14 pmWhen you post a picture we can see when we zoom in on it to see the coin;s details, please also be specific on where you believe you see doubling.
