Re: 1998-d penny proof like/double ear??
As far as the Doubled ear. No it is not. As far as a Proof, Sal sorry to say that you are wrong. In 1998 they did not make a S minted circulating coin, only Proofs. I think it was 1974 when the mint, minted the last S cent for circulation. The San Francisco Mint only minted Proof coins after 1974. So yes it is a Proof mint cent. It seems that it is a circulated 1998 proof cent.SensibleSal66 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 3:17 am No and No . I couldn't find a 1998D Doubled ear or DDO . Also, this isn't a Proof coin. I checked pcgs price guide and coin population for 1998-d rd pl. they graded 3 in ms66 and 1ms68. But doesnt have a estimated price on it. So how will i know how much the coin is worth to declare it value?

If you just LIKE to have coins graded, then go for it.
But please make sure you understand grading companies or you stand to lose a lot of money.
