1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. 1956 D RPM

#1 Unread post by CRW »

I'm not sure if I am correct or not in my finding. From what I have read I am correct but have never had a second opinion.
This is a 1956 D Lincoln Cent with what looks to have an RPM NORTH maybe NORTHEAST See arrows (one arrow on the mint mark and one on the number nine. The arrow on the number nine looks to be a double die???. These look like two different coins but they are the same coin had to use different lighting. Your input will be very much appreciated.
This is the best I could do with the images.

Thank you

Thank you for your valuable input! It means a lot to see your opinion of "Possible 1956 D-1mm-003" even though I wasn't sure what you meant but I did a little research at coppercoins.com and found what appears to be the same 1956 D RPM. I wasn't sure what the 003 meant but I do now! All I can say is, I have a lot to learn...Thanks Again...
