Paul-
Yes I know, I've seen that. So you're saying, you only see and know what we see and know. That page doesn't tell us what the problems are of how long they will last. Or what they are doing to alleviate the problems.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the instructions and process. I'll go back and re-read it. I'm probably missing something. Thanks for the feedback!

I have some kind of token here. I don't know what's going on with it. Doubling? Clashing?... I don't know. It may have been some type of test piece. You tell me?

Re: Post your clashes here!
OK now this gives me a reason to bring my 2000 P Clashed Die Nickel out. If you go error-ref and search under index of completed entries, then look up Clashed Dies you will see a separate listing for my coin. Clashed Dies 2000P "Superclash" Nickel.
At the time when I found it Mike Diamond stated it was the strongest Clashed Dies of any coin, he has ever seen. He was shocked that the Dies didn't shatter at the point of contact (entire coin)
You can find better photos of it by going to Mad Die Classes
I discovered this nickel in 2008 while searching a Coin Star bag of nickels from my bank. Oh, ya I had it graded by PCGS just to authentacte it. It is listed as 2000 P AU-58 Strong clash O/R

Re: Post your clashes here!
Wow - now that is a really nice Kennedy clash! Even a prominent stegosaurus-look n the neck (that is NOT an official word, just my own description).
Did you find it or buy it?
That year they must have really been having problems with the machinery. There are a lot of different looking 1983 clashes out there, and some of those clashes are the most severe.
There were alterations to the die made that year by thickening the letters of the design. Maybe in use the dies were giving them more problems than the former ones (different striking pressure adjustment?) so fiddling with the adjustments to get it right somehow produced more clashes?
