1996-P metal contamination?

Both sides of coin show uncharateristic wear. IMO. Weight 5 grams. I looked at error.com part V and saw something vaguely familar.

Hello! A lot can happen in 25 years. With that said, What I see is flatness and scrapes throughout the reverse, especially the stairs and pillars. I'm saying post mint damage unless someone else has another answer. Thanks.

That's what I thought but striation patterns didn't seem to match. But I'll have to go with your opinions. The coin goes in the weired coin notebook.
