1943 silver wheat penny

Hi again Coin Friends
Here is another what I am hoping is a very good coin uncleaned in it original dirtiness !! used a 1944 to 1943 for showing difference in colors silver and brown
A 1943 silver wheat penny !!!! I read that they are a rare,
please let me know what you all think on this dirty but great coin

The first thing you do with a 1943 cent is to give it a magnet test, if it doesn't stick then you weigh it. If it sticks it's a normal and cleaned steel cent.

A normal 1943 Wheat Penny is made from Steel for WW2 efforts to conserve Copper, they are known as Steel Pennies. A magnet test will show if it's a Steel penny. (I have one, which is a 1943-D)

hi coin friends:
The 1943 steel penny I have does stick to a magnet, which I assume makes it not as valuable as 1943 that is non magnetic?

I greatly appreciate all the advice and knowledgeable wisdom that this coin community has shared with me!!
I now know not to put up comparison coins!! It wont happen again thank you Daniel.
I am sure more mistake on my end will occur please continue to point them out only way ill learn to fix the mistakes. This is my first ever forum community I have ever been apart of!!!!

yes, a steel 1943 cent is normal and has the value of anout 5 cents.
