Hello I have one of these coins showed here "https://www.usacoinbook.com/item/1980-p ... rk-342832/" . Is this a mint error or is this something that can be done through damage or wear of the coin?

as stated by daniel, filled MM's are small die chips or wrongfully punched MM, common occurance that carrys in rare cases very little to no additional value. oh, and welcome to the community! :)
