Die crack/chip size and shape progression

#1 Unread post by COINADICT »

Hi coin help! I love this site!!! You guys are cool!
I have been searching through a 2020 D LSC BU box. I have (probably obviously) found hundreds of die crack/chips that look to be at many different stages (sizes and shapes). I know these are very common... My question is, does anyone collect these minor errors as a progression set? I would add pictures, but I'm fairly sure everyone knows what I'm talking about and has seen the same.

Thank you in advance for the feedback! I'm so glad I don't have to use cointalk anymore!!!!!!!! One love!

"Progressions", as they are called, do have a minor collectibility.........depending on 'what' that progression actually is.

But the run of these must be struck off of the same die,....... attributed with the similar markers.

I agree with Paul, it doesn't depend but some do have some value, but it's not much.
