Quick question for clarification. Would it be advantageous to send 10-15 coins to Wexler or others for their fee then pay to have a official grading.? And if so for the initial expert fee will they forward to Grader or back to original address, then we initiate that step. Sorry for the bother.

Apple and oranges.
Grading companies grade coins. That is their main function. In fact they do not have a good record for labeling varieties correctly. Yes, there are many hidden kinks in grading companys' shiny (and artificial IMO) armor.

Wexler identifies varieties.

Grading companies do not look at each coin to try to tell which variety it is unless the submitter asks them to...and pays a fee.

And even more...even at that, you have to find out from the companies whether or not they will label the specific varieties you believe you have.

So once we know what you are looking for - as in what the coins are - we also can help you with better info.

Grading companies grade coins not attribute errors, they will label errors for an extra fee if it is listed in their catalog on their price guides when it comes to pcgs and NGC. So send to Wexler.
