1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). I can't get a clear look at it. Can you post a better photo that can be enlarged?

coppercoins.com does not show any die errors for a non-mint marked 1955

Re: 1955 DDO Fake?
Variety Vista shows this to be a legitimate DDO. The listing number is 1955 DDO-001, 1-O-I-CCW or FS-101 (21.8).
PCGS shows it as 1955 1C DDO FS-101 (021.8), BN (Regular Strike) with a value of $1500 give or take.

See if this article can help you:

We're at a bit of a disadvantage here with just pictures. That's always the challenge...

The only thing you can do with this coin is to send it in to TPG to have authenticated.

Re: 1955 DDO Fake?
This is not an authenticate Lincoln Cent, it's a counterfeit. The design details and strike are not consistent with a US Mint wheat cent.

Re: 1955 DDO Fake?
I agree with Daniel...an obvious, and not uncommon, chinese fake.
How can you tell without sending it in and paying a grading company?
Simple. Use a search engine to find pictures of legitimate;y slabbed 1955 doubled die pennies.
Zoom in on the picture. Now compare, for example, each letter in the word LIBERTY with the one on your screen. You will see very obvious differences in alignment of some of the letters and the corresponding letters they cover. If ALL lettering does not line up EXACTLY you have a fake.
It is simple, and its fun to play detective. No need to waste money sending it anywhere. And once you play sleuth the first time, then its so much easier the next time to remember and spot a fake.
Also yours has very mushy looking details - typical of a fake. Details of the outline of the portrait (shape of nose etc) are wrong as well.
