Heavy die transfer on 1941 Mercury Dime

#1 Unread post by Robrediger »

Good afternoon,
I thought I fould a Mercury Dime with (what I thought was) delaminations starting. However, the more I studied it, I think it is heavy die transfer. Look above the E Pluribus Unum on the reverse. To me it appears to be ghosting the rear of the head of the obverse. I'm looking to the experts to straighten me out.

Next, how does this affect the grade?

What is the general opinion of what grade this is?

Thank you all in advance!
Rob

A very minor and common die clash.

Nice minor clash. I like all clashes. Unfortunately no real premium over a normal one in this (nice!) condition.
