They're common dates worth $25 to $35 each, depending on if they're cleaned or not. I recommend buying a 2022 Red Book Price Guide, you can buy them anywhere.

ace,

Not to be an alarmist, but there are some items that seem off about these two coins. The nose and eye on liberty just seem off to me as well as some of the writing, especially 'Peace" on the reverse. The eagle talons seem to be truncated as if there isn't an actual claw. It may just be the photos though.

Where did you get them from? And, have you weighed each of them and do they check out?

I'm by no means an expert when it comes to counterfeit detection nor do I know all the nuances of what's the acceptable quality level these were minted to in 1922, but given my initial look at each ... I'd probably have passed on both.

ace,

The weight of a Peace Dollar should be +/- 26.73 grams, so the weight looks to be okay. They may well be fine, I just thought the photo's were a bit off from my experience and weren't what I would have expected. That said, photos can be deceiving sometimes.

If you have a local coin shop near you, I'd probably swing by and let a dealer take a look at them. They would be able to give you their opinion with the coin in-hand to review. As far as buying from a want-ad or through something like a Craigslist ad, I tend to view such as potentially problematic as it's an atypical way to sell coins (or at least in my area). Most folks I know who are selling coins take their coins to a coin store in lieu of taking out ads.

If you end up taking them to a coin dealer ... let me know what they say.

Good luck, I hope I'm wrong!
