your opinion needed on 1956 D DDO DDR ? or whatever it is

#1 Unread post by Kid Charlemagne »

Hello Everyone I am new here.
I have a coin that looks like Rotated Hub Doubling or Tilted Hub Doubling.
Fortunately and unfortunately this coin seems to be an undiscovered variety, if it is a variety.
I have asked other experts and I would like your opinion as well. This is defiantly not a purist coin. Some things are defiantly off. It appears to me to be a variety in LDS based on the die cracks.

I can also see where the devices look to have been made thinner with some shelf-like areas that appear like "doubling" such as on the I and the B in LIBERTY as well as the O, C, and A of AMERICA on the REV. These areas would be machine doubling.
Common grading company shortcomings & resulting co$tly mi$take$ to collectors (using Kennedy No FG halves):

Please do not start another topic for this coin, it's not a doubled die and potential discover coins are beyond the scope of this group. Your need to contact Paul here or post in CONECA's forum.
