I wouldn't buy a coin like this unless I could see it in hand.

This coin went for $820.00...That's a real steal considering its been inside a roll for 98 years ? (-:

If it's problem free and the seller is being honest. You can't buy into things some sellers claim, trust me on that. It doesn't matter how long a coin was in a roll it still doesn't mean it's not a problem coin, people have carved, damaged and cleaned coins well before 1923. If it was such a steal then why not send it off for grading and get much more as a seller? Nowadays it doesn't make sense to go through the trouble of selling a coin like this if it's worth submitting for grading.

Daniel, I hear everything you're saying. Why don't they send these coins in for grading ? Yet its amazing that some of these raw nickels are going for thousands ?
The snipers on count down go crazy ? Go figure...Thanks for your help and I do watch your video's.
