Hello! My name is Lisa Howard. I'm a 41 yr old woman from Central Oklahoma. I am a third generation collector of US currency and some select foreign coins. My Father and Grandfather collected all of the above, as well as, star notes, bi notes, New pence coins, older liberty coins, etc. My father also collects some modern items too. Unfortunately, I'm a complete amateur and I do not have much information on any of the items either of us possess. We are needing help identifying some of the things we have acquired over the years, if that is ok? My father is interested in learning more about some of the coins he has such as...1808 liberty half cent with a 55° rotation on reverse with stems, a date error on the last 8, and errors in the word liberty, and far more than I care to type atm. Also, he is wondering if this community knows much about consecutive $20 bills? He found 5 of them that are numbered consecutively that were uncirculated...plus many other things. Thank you so much for taking time to read this and hopefully you allow us to learn from you.
Best wishes,
Lisa Howard

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Re: New member
Welcome. I recommend buying a 2022 Red Book Price Guide online and die rotations on type coins like that is normally found. Also you can use ebay sold auctions to help with the values of currency.
When you do ask a question please only one coin at a time with a question. Thanks
