Can someone help with identifying possible DDO

#1 Unread post by FLY33 »

I am kinda new to coin hunting but I believe I have found a 1985 P Jefferson Nickel that is a doubled die error. I haven't been able to find another like it to compare it with and usually that means its just PMD. However I have been watching videos and reading on the errors. I do not believe this is die deteration or strike doubling or machine doubling. You can clearly see split tarifs on the LIBE of Liberty. The date also shows doubling especially on the 5. The coin is worn but with magnification its easy to see. However I am not an expert and I could be just seeing something that I wish was there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this 1989 D Quarter that has done errors is it worth anything? The “ IN God WE TRUST” and strike marks along front side in between in God and the date. On the back the feather runs outside of branch and the “unum”
