Hi All Is this a wrong planchet or just no clad layers. The quater is brass or bronze mat. and no edge reeding.

There is no clad on any surface and the obverse has good hair and no clad on all the lower surface. The coin would have to have no outer rim height if worn.

This coin is post mint damaged and not a US Mint created product.

Sorry, al you have here is an environmentally toned and damaged coin. It has been very well worn and the milling around the edge worn off.

Your own pictures show it within weight tolerances for a normal quarter (see the chart below).

And using your own pictures, I have added arrows pointing to areas of unstained clad.

I see a very porous surface in your images, which is indicative of a caustic substance that has removed the outer plating....JMO
