I just found this going through quarter rolls could this be anything again thank you for all your help

Hello! No, this did Not come from the Mint like this. Looks like PMD (post mint damage), "Dryer coin"???

This is not a dryer coin.

Inspection of the surface from your images posted here, appears to be post mint damage.

Okay, I got the PMD correct. What about heat some other way or maybe corrosive damage? :think:
