1965 American quarter with no I and liberty blended in to edge of coin

#1 Unread post by sirspanky »

Hi coin friends
I came across this nice old 1965 American quarter recently and there is NO I in the IN God we trust, as well as the liberty word top portion has blended into the edge of the coin also the A and M in American the bottom edges are connected together ! is this just a over time wear down issue ? or is it possibly a good find ? what does this fine community think
thanks very much

This is the result of circulation ware and the coin being struck with a LDS die, the small anomalies are caused by it. No additional value, just a common clad quarter.
