Hei! I'm collecting Estonian coins (including mint errors) and found this one.
In my opinion it is strike through, but the debris (small piece of metal in this case) have remained on the surface of the coin (maybe there is some official term for this kind of mint errors?).
But of course, I may be wrong and because of that I'd like to get some independent opinion.
The piece of metal is very small, so it is a bit hard to get that on the picture, but interesting area is next and on the letter K.
There is also missing piece of metal from the edge or rim of the coin, roughly the same size as the piece of debris. Is it possible, that during the coin striking process piece of metal breaks away from the edge and ends up in the coin fields?
But of course, the edge damage may be just some post mint damage and can be totally unrelated.
So, long story short, I'd like to get some independent opinion. Is it mint error at all and what would be the correct term for this kind of error (if it is an error).
Also, if this is an error, would it slab in NGC? I know that even if this is an error, then its very minor, but all my other mint errors are in NGC slabs. I'd like to keep the consistency.
Thank you in advance!
PS! If you think that some better pictures would be needed, then i can try to make few more. But this coin is one tough cookie and doesn't want to cooperate too much!

Paul, thanks for the opinion and sorry, that I didn't thank you earlier.
Anyway, in case somebody is interested, i decided to bite the bullet and sent it to NGC. I just got it back.
NGC agreed, that this is mint error - Struck in rim burr
Never heard of this kind of error before, learned something new today!
Cool new addition to my mint errors collection.
