1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Hello all my name is jeff Wilson and i am from Fayetteville ar. my wife Barbara and myself have been collecting coins for a couple of years now and love it we watch Daniel almost everyday and have learne3de a great deal from him and at this time we would like to thank him for taking time out of his day to provide us with a wealth of useful knowledge thankyou DANIEL even though i have learned a great deal from your YouTube videos i still struggle with doubled dies i get them for the most part but sometimes i second guess what i have been taught when i come across one or what i would hope is one . I have been cracking a lot of proof sets and sms sets as well i just got done cracking 40 1966 sms sets and i ran across a Washington quarter that i was hoping would be a ddr some of the doubling looks shelf like as in mechanical doubling or strike doubling but on other parts of the devices it looks like class one i have seen enough mechanical doubling to recognize and identify it but i have never seen as much of it as i have seen on this one coin it is basically one almost every letter on the reverse and on parts of the eagle as well as the foliage at the bottom of the coin and i can see all the doubling anyway i turn the coin so i took a whole bunch of pictures of every part of the coin that has doubling so i can get some second opinions. What i was really wondering was if it is possible to have a true doubled die and have mechanical doubling on the same coin and if they could overlap each other. The reason why i came up with this thought is because in some spots on the devices and lettering the doubling seems to be tripling and the serifs on the s seem to be split is it possible for a die to jump up and down more than once during the minting process Asto where it would leave tripling on the coin in some aeras but not others this is the reason why i am stumped and i took around 50 pictures of this coin that i will upload here shortly for everyone to take a look at. Once again i a grateful that Daniel has created this site and takes time out of his day to provide everyone with this valuable service and to share his knowledge with us thankyou again Daniel have a great day sincerly Jeff Wilson
