Why are you looking for insignificant die chips? What has you interested in finding and posting these?

Yup - fun to find, but common die chips like this and no added value.

I am not a coin collector, just a person recovering from paralysis where picking up coins is part of my therapy. My friends started giving me bags of coins, and I began to watch your videos which started me to actually looking at more than the dates. Thanks but I will remove myself from this forum as your feedback has become more hurtful than helpful to me in my recovery. Thanks again.

Re: 2007 P dime with die chip at bottom of torch on reverse
I admit to being surprised by your saying it was hurtful. Also sorry you feel this way.
I went back up through and do not see any insults or character assassination?
Maybe you took Daniel's question as being harsh? Please don't be too sensitive. We have so very many questions to answer here each day (and the number is growing greatly!). Therefore many replies are just short and to the point.
Die chips like these are very common and not worth anything at all. Some people just like looking for them while others are misled by ebay b/c they see incorrect listings where people think these are rare and valuable b/c they don;t know about real coin errors (and some of the sellers are just trying to make a buck anyway they can).
Knowing why you look for these chips would have let us know if you were one of those people who had been misled and then what I just typed would have been shown to you.

I was genuinely wondering if there was some video that you watched that claimed those were worth perusing. We’re getting so many die chip coins posted here it had me wondering.

I don't feel that either of you were harsh but very patient and kind. I think I am just overwhelmed with all the information on YouTube and other sites. I even bought the 2022 big book and I am trying to make sense of it. I don't know the first thing about how to sell coins because I have kept every coin given me plus the ones I already had. I have much respect for how you can do this daily. I was just trying to share with you my finds.

Re: 2007 P dime with die chip at bottom of torch on reverse
You are simply learning that unlike Youtube etc. videos make it seem, everyone can make a huge profit from finding valuable coin errors is not a reality. Youtube makes people think they can be olympic level runners before they have learned to crawl.
Also remember the purpose a lot of people are on youtube: its a way to make money doing what they like to do. So clickbait titles are common.
Unfortunately there are a LOT of rookie level Youtubers making it seem like they are coin experts. So a LOT of info there is innocently misleading at best, and downright deceitful at worst.
Like anything worth doing, making money in the coin hobby requires a lot of legitimate learning and information.
It's also sad, but most collectors have no concept of what the grading companies are really about either, and a lot of people lose money using these companies as well.
Some help:
Save Yourself time, effort, and disappointment...don’t learn the coin hobby backwards.
Looking for random anomalies on coins and hoping they match up to something collectable will take you a lot more time, wasted effort, and disappointment repeatedly finding out you have nothing but post mint damage or useless machine doubling, die deterioration, etc.
Spend some initial time at places like error-ref.com, doubleddie.com, varietyvista.com, conecaonline.org, coppercoins.com etc. to find what actual and collectable coin errors look like.
A good way to start is, for instance, separate a bunch of pennies by date. Go to varietyvista.com and, date by date, use the reference there to see what errors are known for that specific coin/mint mark. Look for those specific errors/varieties using the pictures provided. After doing this for awhile you will KNOW what an actual error looks like and not have to waste time on face value and damaged coins.

Re: 2007 P dime with die chip at bottom of torch on reverse
I hate to admit it, but I'm genuinely very embarrassed for you Leolad1999, I feel really bad for you. But you're not alone in very sensitive situations, I was there this past November, and to be honest, I was extremely sensitive and it took weeks to get over it. But it has returned before and when it happens, I go to hide in a very safe location until the flashback has past.
When I lost my Grandfather to terminal cancer in November 2021, I hid from this forum for a while until I had the courage to get back on, and I was never the same again. I now have PTSD-like flashbacks to the week I lost him and it will hit me hard when it comes back, the scars of losing the only father that I knew properly are still with me to this day. I can't handle losing a close relative very well anymore. Especially after losing 2 in a 6 week span, (My Great-Grand Stepfather passed away in Mid-September 2021). When I lose a close relative again, I will just basically fall apart and take a long time to recover from it.
(Sorry for being OT, I had to do it because I'm not alone on situations like mentioned above, and it was also building inside me and I had to let it out, I had no other choice. )

I think that is a really cool die chip error. I find even minor errors interesting. However, I'm not trying to make money by selling them either.

Re: 2007 P dime with die chip at bottom of torch on reverse
Thank you so much Mr. Earle42. I appreciate you taking the time to answer me. I feel like by reading the information you gave me, that I will have a better understanding of what I am doing. I spent countless hours separating coins by the year, starting with a 5 gallon water bottle I had filled up over 30+ years. I have over 20+ tackle boxes and jars full. I am going to take my time and learn now. Again thank you .
