Alexander the Great Tetradrachm with off center OBV and weak center of the rev.
Any thoughts on a grade? Fine?
Also, what is a good site for attribution?
Thanks!

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Re: Alexander the Great Tetradrachm grade
Nice coin.
Unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about ancients, so I cannot offer my opinion here.

Re: Alexander the Great Tetradrachm grade
Hmmm. I could take a guess but I don't quite trust myself -- I tend to undergrade these. I suggest you go to vcoins.com, which has dozens of examples of this coin for sale. Compare the photos and the given grades against your coins. Reputable ancient coin sellers (and from what I can tell they all are on that site) tend to grade accurately, and you will probably even find some slabbed by NGC.
Another thing to watch out for, is whether some alteration was done to your second coin there in the other post ... surfaces are often smoothed, wiped etc. This is common and somewhat accepted (these were all dug out of the ground after all), but such flaws are always mentioned along with the grade and it does affect the value.

Re: Alexander the Great Tetradrachm grade
I would call it Choice Good. Grades are opinions. whatever it is its a 5/5 strike 3/5 surface. Check if your weight is within the margin.
"4 Good, G, G4: Rims of the coin are slightly worn, design is visible, but faint in areas, with many parts of the coin worn flat. Peripheral lettering nearly full."
Edit: it looks like it would get a fine.
