Off center 1999 nickel

Simple question.. have you ever seen one of these off-center Nickels with an uneven cut I guess you can say. With the nickel laid flat you can see that it's thicker on one side. Notice the back looks normal.

Hello. This is a Misaligned Die strike. How do I know this? One side is off while the other is perfectly normal. If it had been an Off-center error, it would be off on both sides.Better explained by the link :dance:

Misaligned hammer die.....

Once you start seeing that the strike begins interfering with the devices, the premium increases :geek:

No, the MAD on this coin is so minor that it does not have any significant value above face value.
