Blank Area on Obverse: Jefferson Nickel 2000-P | Question: Would this be considered a mint error?

#1 Unread post by CoinCaveman »

I ran across this coin (Jefferson Nickel 2000-P) while sorting through old change. You can see at the top of the coin on the obverse side that there is a small blank area at the top. Thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated!

In my opinion it looks like it could be a misaligned Obverse (hammer die).

It's not misaligned enough to add value.

As has been said, this is a Misaligned Die error. A fun fund!
