1972 D quarter DDO monster never seen one like it

#1 Unread post by Jprew. »

It has profile doubling clashing I believe letters on the Adams apple ear double In God We Trust it's crazy. I didn't know there was any 72 like or any
What you think? It has some clash all over the face and neck too. Is there a cataloged one
What you think the value? Is it one of a kind?

The blurry are the profile doubling I didn't really notice until I turned the lights down on my microscope I don't have it hooked up to a computer yet to get pictures from it.

1. Welcome! Please see the PM I sent you concerning microscope pictures and to take/post them so they can be seen on the forum.

2. Here is a way to find immediate answers when finding something you suspect is a doubled die, RPM, or OMM:
Please click the following link:

Note:
If you do not find your coin listed using this easy method, then you most likely have a damaged coin or other issues like (non collectable) machine doubling, die deterioration doubling, etc. (look these up at error-ref.com)

Please see the PM I sent you and take the link there before making another addition or post in this forum.

We have to have pictures we can use to help you with your question. You will find that info at the link in the PM and in the links I sent above as well.

I locked this topic b/c it is getting larger and just full of pictures we cannot see and posts asking you to take links to find out how to correct this.

After finding out what we need and how to easily make it, please start a new thread for this coin. Thank you :D

This is not a doubled die but the images are not good enough to tell if it’s die deterioration or strike doubling.

Also how could a one of a kind coin, that only you have, be cataloged? You got to be realistic in this hobby.
