2002 Lincoln Cent With Doubled Ear

#1 Unread post by BornCustom »

I query does anyone know of a recorded 2002 Lincoln scent with ear doubling to date? I cannot find any record of one having been found. If not and one were to be found would that be considered a new discovery? I'm not quite sure how new discoveries are determined and what exactly are the considerable requirements for one to be so. I threw that last photo in just because it looks really cool the way it was capture, I haven't seen this before with the way his eyes are.

Nice close up of the ear. I'm gonna take a stab at this one and after looking at Dan's video I would say "contact mark".

I just think after reviewing this for awhile that it's just a piece of his Beard. No doubled ear.

If you look closely the tragus of his ear is also doubled and at a different light angle the whole bottom of the lobe is doubled as well. So is the anti targus.
