1921 Peace Dollar opinions on details

#1 Unread post by Rathalos88 »

I have a 1921 High Relief Peace that I have acquired. I’ve tried using the pcgs photo grading to compare but they have basically all low relief images to compare to. From what I can see by graded examples online I think it’s 30-35 more toward 30. Is this something I can ask opinions on here or is that against the rules? I’ve attached the coin pictures for you to see

Looking at the images, I agree with your 30-35 assessment.
This coin also appears to be cleaned.

If it looks like that in hand, harshly cleaned, probably over dipped and appears none of the original surface left.

I agree with VF but the point grades matter little when it comes to value.
