Simple answer: NO. Why? Only worth 50 cents or less. https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/482/s ... nt/1955-s/

It is very difficult to grade from pictures. It would need to get MS67 RD to be worth paying the membership (NGC or PCGS) and the grading fees. MS67 is a very high grade. This looks the condition of my MS66 1943 that I sent to NGC. This would not get MS67

I would go as low as AU do to the small wear on the reverse * the O in One and on the obverse (portrait). ;)

The weakness that you are seeing in the "O", is very common and results from over polishing

Grading? = No

You are correct, Paul; it Looks like heavy die polishing did no justice to the "O" on this coin but, Aren't these coins rated more on the wear down of the left and right wheat condition on the reverse of the coin...
When I was young, many moons ago, we rated wheat cents by the wheat stock condition on the reverse.
I agree on the AU, but AU 55...

Yes, those can be an indicator of wear… But there's a whole lot more to it than that.

Things that I look for:

EDS hit,.... full beard, crisp letters, sharp wheat stalks, no traces of polishing ...........
Clean rims, contact free prime focal's, as cherry-red as possible,..... so on

Paul, your examples of judging the conditions are correct these days...
But I believe back-way-back (in the late 50s and early 60s when I was just a boy collecting coins), the "Wheat Stalks" were the main focal point in the condition of a Lincoln wheat cent coin...
