I love watching the lustre swirl around the eagle. Not quite as nice as a walker reverse though

Im posting 2 coins.
One is 1965 Washington quarter dollar and the other is
in AD 36~37 the silver coin of Roman Emperor Tiberius who looks like Washington and his nose. :lol:
That's 'Tiberius AR(argentum=silver) Denarius'.
I was lucky enough to buy this coin,which someone won for £400, for almost half the price.

I love my 1932 P-D-S Washington Quarters, especially the one I posted earlier.
Why, you might ask, it is the first Washington quarter that the US Mints minted during the Depression (History);
I wonder how many of those who suffered during those years used this quarter to feed their families...
One of the signs on this picture says, "Parking 25 Cents" 8-)

To me that is part of the great wonder & draw of coin collecting...if only they could talk.
Common grading company shortcomings & resulting co$tly mi$take$ to collectors (using Kennedy No FG halves):

Nice Roman alien in a rocking chair on the reverse! It’s a pretty good strike.

Thank you.
For your information, during the time when Jesus Christ was in Rome, the Roman Emperor was Tiberius. Tiberius issued a Tribute Penny during his reign.
Tribute Penny has become significant not just in Roman history, but in religious history as well,I think.
It was used to pay the annual tribute imposed on the Jews by the Romans.
Seated female figure on the reverse is commonly believed to be the goddess Pax in Roman mythology.
But some historians assume that it is a depiction of Tiberius' mother, Livia Drusilla.
