2009 D Lincoln Pennies, sorry about the puctures

#1 Unread post by Beach »

Questions, what is this 2009-D Lincoln pennies called? There's the Wheat, and Memorial series, but these two are the only ones I've ever seen and had gotten my hands on since 2009 and believe me I have searched and looked at the back of every penny. The 1946 Lincoln Wheat penny I dont think there's a mint mark, so that's not special just means Philadelphia right? Mr Daniel that was me watching your error video and yes I'm going to say it, sorry. I can't figure it out, on the back, left side, kinda above the top of the Wheat? It doesn't go around the Wheat stalk, looks like it's underneath it somehow? What would something like this be called? I just don't know enough about all this stuff and I've gone to an error site. The first two, how many have these coins or seen them? Thank you for your answer and help.

And please split up the coins into their own threads. That way we can comment on each without any confusion.

Please be advised that the general rule for posting coins is one coin per-topic.

When posting photos of a coin you would like someone to look at, you should post a photo of both the full Obverse and Reverse. Try to take these photos as clear and close as possible. It would be extremely helpful if you would crop these photos. Next take some photos of the area in question again as close and clear as possible. It would also help if you could find some way to point to the area in question or give a detailed explanation of what you want to be looked at. If you need a photo editing program, there are three free ones that come to mind. They are PhotoScape, Inkscape and Gimp. Of the three PhotoScape is the easiest to use. Daniel explains quite well in the following topics, posting photos plus Daniels Video on posting coins
