First Jewish Revolt - Year 2, AE Prutah 67/68 AD

I looked up some of the "Sold" auctions on EBay and this coin does not seem to be worth much - surprised me how little. There were some better examples and some worse. I even see some of these graded and slabbed but it seems to not improve the value.

I can see (b/c I do it myself), a lot of people even wondering things about this coin like which way is up? I may be very wrong, but the design of it is foreign enough that although I can appreciate the amazing historic value of a coin this old, I would not be willing to pay much at all for something so abstract to my mind. My idea about this might change if I did the homework on it so I could tell what I was looking at!
