2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. With photos posted, I cannot attribute this coin. The close ups show too many vertical raster lines blocking out the coin.

A screenshot closeup will not have the lines of interference you get when taking a picture of the screen..

Re: What kind of doubling is this 1974 Eisenhower dollar or what is this error on it
Something needs explained here so we can help you better.
There are different types of doubling. Some are collectable and some not.
In order to distinguish between these we need to be able to see the fine details.
When a camera looks at a microscope screen, interference lines (called rasters) hide the tiny details behind them.
If you want the best answer we can give, we need all the details to be viewable.
So when I asked you to take a screenshot, drawing arrows did not really help b/c those rasters are still there hiding intricate details. Your microscope instructions probably tell you how to transfer the picture to your computer where a screen shot can be taken. If you do not know how to take a screenshot, I am sure there are youtube videos for your system (PC or Mac) to help you with this as well.
So please do as was requested and post some pictures with which we can make a positive determination.
The forum guidelines are here so we can avoid having to ask people things like this and draw out the threads and not give a good answer right away.
Please review the guidelines at the link below.

BTW - just making sure, please do not take anything in this note as being negative or harsh in any way. Its just straight info for you so we can help better
